12 weeks and counting.....

We had our 12 week ultrasound on Friday and things are looking very good. The technician still sees no sign of the blood clot which is great news and the cyst on my right ovary is gone as well. The technician said she could tell us with %80 certainty what the sex was but I told her I didn't want to know. Tim wanted her to tell him but she said she wouldn't....mothers choice. I love Tim to death, but he is not the best at keeping secrets from me and I know he would eventually slip. We did however get confirmation that it is not a hermaphrodite......LOL......what a relief!! I also got blood work taken to check the chances of Cystic Fibrosis. Hopefully those results will come back good.

This whole pregnancy things is starting to become a little more real to me day by day. When wearing certain clothes I think definitely 'look' pregnant. I went shopping with Mom on Friday and bought a ton of maternity clothing on clearance at Kohls. I was very happy wit my discount shopping, so I have to share: work slacks, work capris, lounge pants, 2 pair of jeans, 5 short sleeve tops, 1 long sleeve top, and sun dress.....all for $95. What a deal!

Symptoms........the tiredness is starting to slowly fade. I find a couple of days a week where I have extra energy and I try to use it as efficiently as possible when I have it. A new symptom is that I am starting to get some heartburn. It is not too bad yet, but it is there.

The excitement and pregnancy is getting more real so this weekend I started creating a registry. Its far from complete, but it is fun to pick out the things I am going to need. Tim also bought me an SLR digital camera which I always said I wanted once we have kids and it is really great. It is the Sony A-200 and is perfect for me because it has the anti-shake feature.

So I am hoping to make the announcement at work this week. I am hoping that it will go well. I have got all the info on NJ maternity leave and I am planning on returning back to work (hopefully part time at first or maybe from home). It is kind of hard to plan for things when you don't exactly know what is going to happen or how you will handle a situation.

I am including a pic of the nursery that I finally got to take.
